Thomas Cortese is a Senior Real Estate Broker and Principal with Acorn Group.  He joined Acorn Group in 2001 and is consistently a top producer in Acorn Group’s Real Estate Brokerage Services.  A native of Indianapolis, Thomas brings a wealth of capabilities and knowledge to augment the diverse realty services Acorn Group provides to its Major Corporate, Small Business, and Individual Clients.

Thomas graduated from Cathedral High School in Indianapolis, IN and attended Indiana University where he graduated with a B.A. degree in Economics. While at Indiana University, Thomas was intimately involved with the emerging computer revolution that was taking place during the late 1980’s and was instrumental in coordinating several wide-area networking projects while at Indiana University. 

Prior to joining Acorn Group, Thomas owned and operated several technology related businesses and served as a director for a well-known technology and Internet services provider.  In addition to Thomas’ experience in mid-size business ventures, he has been a Real Estate Broker for over 18 years and has been active in several Real Estate development projects.  Thomas specializes in the acquisition, disposition and leasing of Office, Medical, Retail and development Real Estate.  Thomas’ clients range from the individual user or investor to representing several national companies with respect to their diverse Real Estate requirements. 

Thomas is active in several volunteer and civic organizations and is a member of BOMA, MIBOR, IREX, CCIM, IAR and NAR and has earned the prestigious Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation.
