Ms. Snyder, a principal in the Acorn Group, has been in the real estate business for twenty years, first as a residential broker and for the last fifteen years, as a commercial broker specializing in the suburban market. Before coming to the Acorn Group, she worked at the Graves Commercial Group where she was named the Commercial Broker of the Year in 1989. As senior office specialist, she works with owners, developers and users of office space and development land.

Ms. Snyder is completing the work necessary to receive the CCIM professional designation and has served on the Indiana Commercial Board of REALTORS Professional Standards Committee. She is a graduate of Mundelein College with an AB in Psychology. Before Ms. Snyder became involved in real estate, she was a teacher and administrator in the Illinois public and private school systems.

For five years, Ms. Snyder was a member of the Board of the Carmel Clay Chamber of Commerce. She is a former member of the Carmel Plan Commission and Hamilton County Economic Development Commission. She was elected to three terms on the Carmel City Council and sat on committees that redesigned the development standards for Meridian Street and helped to craft new standards governing communication towers, Michigan Road design and residential plats. As a member of the City Council Luci supported the 96th Street Bridge, Hazel Dell Parkway, The Village of West Clay, the expansion of parks, City Center and the revitalization of Old Town as well as actively working to bring St. Vincent’s Heart Hospital and Clarian Hospital to the community. She sat on the Board of First Merchants Bank of Hamilton County, the Hamilton County Alliance and was one of IBJ’s “Most Influential Women in 1998.” Ms. Snyder currently is a board member of the Carmel Economic Development Commission and KidsPeace. Ms. Snyder is also listed in “Who’s Who in Real Estate.”
