Mr. Pappas, a principal of the Acorn Group and a native of Indianapolis, is a multi-disciplined commercial broker specializing in Building Acquisition, Land Development, Office and Retail sales and leasing throughout the central Indiana region.

Mr. Pappas has been responsible for such transactions as:

• Acquisition of land for the development of Clay Terrace Center, Central Indiana’s first Lifestyle Center in Carmel, Indiana by Lauth and Simon Properties.
• 225 North New Jersey Street  - Acquisition for redevelopment of better than 100,000 square feet of office space in downtown Indianapolis, Indiana.
• Acquisition for redevelopment of the Murphy Building in Fountain Square. Redeveloped to provide approximately 60,000 square feet of artist studio and retail galleries.
• Acquisition for redevelopment and development of 1501 North Delaware creating the Harrison Center for the Arts providing 75,000 + square feet of office and community affairs space.

Mr. Pappas graduated from Barat College, Lake Forest, Illinois from which he received Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. He also received the Duchesne Society award for extensive work with the education of learning disabled children.

Prior to joining Acorn, Mr. Pappas’ experience was in the industrial sales markets. He held exclusive client relationships with such national companies such as Waste Management and BFI.

Mr. Pappas is a seven-year member of the Metropolitan Development Commission Plat Committee for the City of Indianapolis, appointed by Mayor Bart Peterson and is on the Board of Directors of the Peoples Burn Foundation of the State of Indiana, as well as a member of the Indianapolis Rotary and American Hellenic Educational Progressive Association (AHEPA) and a volunteer in a number of civic organizations.
